The last few weeks Symantec been named regarding several hacks and security breaches.
Hackers related to the group Anonymous made good on a threat that they would release the source code for the Symantec software pcAnywhere.
Symantec tried to bribe hackers not to release their source code. Don’t they know you can’t bribe an idea?” tweeted @YourAnonNews.
PC Anywhere was widely used and many companies used the software to let their employees login from home for example.
So when i noticed the registration of NORTONSETTLEMENT.COM 2 days ago i wasn’t suprised.
So it looks like Symantec is going for a settlement, though it is too early to predict this.
