Intresting article from Hitwise..Souce looks independed (well not MS related).
Bing and Yahoo! Search achieved the highest success rates in January 2011. This means that for both search engines, more than 81 percent of searches executed resulted in a visit to a Website. Google achieved a success rate of 65 percent. The share of unsuccessful searches highlights the opportunity for both the search engines and marketers to evaluate the search engine result pages to ensure that searchers are finding relevant information.
I feel a crackdown on parked pages even more and the pressure on content posting websites willbe bigger..till they are flushed out. Google cannot afford to have their searches poluted by rubbish.. Their search engine is their core bussines. If people make a switch like what happend to altavista back in the day there is going tobe a huge issue for google. Keep in mind these result are based on the USA and do not reflect the rest of the world.
